I began my career in health when I was 18 and I started working at the check in desk in the ED of my local hospital. From the very first second I sat in that chair, I knew I wanted a career working in that environment. A few years later, I moved to Dublin and enrolled to study Medical Physics so that I could become a Cardiac Clinical Physiologist. In this job, I would be involved in diagnostic testing of patients who showed signs or symptoms of cardiac disease or other illnesses that impacted on the heart. I absolutely loved my job and every day was different and exciting. Roll forward a number of years and, following the birth of my third child, I decided that juggling a full time, very demanding job and being a mom to 3 children was not the lifestyle I wanted. So, I left my job in the hospital and returned to University to achieve my Masters in Exercise and Nutrition Science.

Since then, I have been working with 1-1 clients, teams, corporates and colleges developing wellness programmes, offering insight into poor lifestyle choices and steering my clients in the direction of a healthier version of themselves.

IMG_1902My ethos is ‘health first’ and while I am happy to tailor diets for individuals who have short term goals, my real aim is lifelong health and wellness.

I spend my time riding my horse, training for the sport of triathlon (occasionally competing), doing yoga, travelling, spending time at the beach with my kids and cooking (not in that order). I encourage everyone to get outdoors and move in order to discover the full potential of what the human body can do.
